All the complaints about the off-topic page but no one is worried about how Gibby’s possible partner was doxxed or specific fans have been talked about multiple times. This site is hopeless as long as anons don’t care about the fallout of their words and no one is around to actually moderate.

I have blocked their name along with several other names of non-talents involved, and BNFs from being posted this should no longer be a problem. I have catched the filter slipping in sometimes but will find a solution for that too

Nyfco was never good because it was polluted with people like you, but fans used to call out doxxing and targeting fans on this website. Now you all have normalized it and don’t see anything wrong with your behavior because you all want a place where you can be horrible and not be judged for it. And a bunch of you have your panties in a twist because some of us still don’t condone your actions. Admin deleted the website because of how nasty you all are and a bunch of you still don’t get it. Like there’s something deeply wrong with some of you.
Eventually that kind of attitude is going to hurt one of the talents or end up with a fan hurting themselves, and none of you will take any responsibility for it despite participating in it. You all are perfectly fine engaging in shitty behaviors that get other people hurt but are too cowardly to make yourself known to everyone.

girl, people are very much still calling out doxxing and fan harassment. i literally just said i’m totally for rules against it. what i was talking about is people who cry over anons expressing their criticisms or giving their brutally honest thoughts about things. people who spam report on threads that have heated discussions in them just because there’s opinions they disagree with or aren’t 100% nice. those are the exact same people who preach about going back to the “good old days” that never existed and that’s what i was arguing against. i promise you, as someone who’s unfortunately been here a while, nothing has changed in people’s behaviour since the beginning of this site. there were always people who did things like doxx and harass and there were always people who called them out. if you wanna fight the good fight then advocate for rules against those things but don’t get on your high horse and act like some wave of boogeymen came in and suddenly corrupted your eden. your heart’s in the right place but you’re fighting a battle against an imaginary group of strawmen that you invented. also, admin nuked the place because of the sudden influx of trolls and bait which are clearly not from the regular users of this site.

1. Don’t let random people actually delete posts. That’s a moderator’s job. Switch to a format that allows reports to be submitted for review.
2. Become active yourself or have an active mod. These two things are the least that 4chan does and any anonymous board needs.
3. Too many categories. We shouldn’t be having bait wars because Armis was posted on the Tempus page, they’re all Holostars EN and frequently interact. Consolidate them and label things appropriately.

Its not “too hard”, its just annoying. If Shinri hosts a game and has Axel, Jurard and Ruze on, does it go in Tempus? Armis? Collabs? Why are there three channels for this purpose when it should just go in “Holostars EN” activity. I’ll clean up the tabs for you now:

-graveyard (encompassing all discussion around grads/terminations/affiliates within cover perhaps)
-rename the flesh/vt tab to make it more clearly Holostars PL focused, who are we pussyfooting around here
-NEW TAB “non-Elysian fleshtubers/vtubers” where people can discuss anybody from any company/indie, which is the bulk of offtopic at the moment being hololive and FSP wars
-Off Topic (now actually for non-vtubing related content, casual life discussion, anons talk amongst themselves and make friends, etc)

Thanks for being so thoughtful and for all the effort you put into this, adminchama.
I do think a change needs to happen eventually to make this site better moderated because the recent incident of trolls and hate groups essentially becoming the defacto moderation group by abusing the report system is unfortunately a constant inevitable outcome in situations like this. Those good of heart will be chased out by those that relish negativity, and those that wish to stir negativity will grow in number until they hold power. And that’s not even including stuff like brigading which accelerates this.
Whatever you end up doing, I will support so long as it follows the goals outlined in the A Change in Direction post. A place to anonymously discuss Holostars and their PLs, be horny, vent in respectful ways, and be unhinged without being destructive would be wonderful. We don’t need a place to single out and drag someone through the mud or spew hatred towards groups that aren’t your own because that’s sadly the norm on the internet these days.

that’s not what was said though? they said specifically user registration- one possible application of this would be making you sign in to post, but you can still be anonymous by not attaching your username to it. it would make moderation significantly easier at the cost of an email address.
