They’re doomposting bcoz they think Jurard is destroying Holostars and they want to rip his tongue out to shut him up. The antis are still shitting on him and these armadas hate Jurard for attracting drama. It’s basically like what Vesper did after his Japan arc where he riled up the antis. If anything, these armadas are more concern on what the haters think.

What’s with the increasing posts about Ruzaders/Octoposse vs Sorawrity/Bubbies fandom infights? Recently I’ve seen lots of people who put down Jurard and GB and their fanbase while claiming they only watch Ruze and Tavi from Armis, it’s always those two for some reason. I’m not being sarcastic or immediately claiming they’re baits or anything, just curious about what made the fandom division

It’s just because GB and Jurard are the ones who have had “issues” lately, while Octavio and Ruze are business as usual.

i really only watch ruze regularly, but that has nothing to do with fanbases or drama or anything. i just prefer streamers that are more level-headed and consistent because that appeals to my particular flavour of autism. i only started watching tavi recently because i got a similar energy from his lies of p streams.
in general i think beefing with other stars’ fanbases is pointless. a holostar is a holostar, and i still want to see them all succeed regardless of whether i personally watch/enjoy their content or not

I think the level of professionalism attracts a different age demographic. I’m not in my 20s and I really appreciate the consistency both Octavio and Ruze bring to stars for the little time and money I can invest in this hobby. I can rely on vods to not disappear for good, they don’t try to agitate other fanbases, they execute creative streams that go above and beyond what people expect all the time, and they show incredible work ethic and passion for their own content. I’m not saying Ruze and Octavio never slip up on these things. I’m also not saying none of this applies to GB and Jurard, but enough don’t that I can’t always invest in their content. It’s not an “elitism” thing, it’s having a lack of things to complain about vs not.

the professionalism of each boys, or how they handle their contents and fandom, differed too much despite coming from the same gen and the corpo allegedly selling group synergies, which the fanbase reflected. Those who are fan of the “more professional” side became elitist and those for the “less professional” side who usually gets the criticism became overprotective. But it all sums up to the expectations vs reality case for different sort of fans with striking differences in what they seek in their oshis, even to the conflicting point. The boys may get along, but their contents and how they treat the contents or the fanbase clashed to work as a unified fandom for a whole gen.

This makes sense. As a fan of one of the unprofessional ones I’ll admit I stopped watching the rest of Armis at one point because of hate and elitist fans. I remember a Nyfco nonnie once said Ruze was a genius for giving commentary during watchalongs and the other boys’ watchalongs where they just watch and react was lazy, basic and below nonnie’s standards. That put me off so much to the point I couldn’t stand Ruze and his fans anymore for a while.

Personally I think thats a pretty stupid reason to stop watching someone you previously enjoyed before hearing someone else’s comment, but I guess I’m glad there’s less weirdly impulsive people making unpredictable judgments like this in his chat so its a win for both of us.

Yeah, that’s exactly what caused the infighting here. I think the armadas have very high expectations of the boys and when they don’t turn out what they expected, it’s understandable that they’re disappointed. But then, instead of constructive criticism, it ended up becoming more of nitpicking every flaw to dictating what they should do to doubting them being Holostars.
We’ve already seen this kind of attitude in the previous gens and generally, among idol fans such as the Kpop fandom. Like, they’re expecting their oshis to be perfect or be the ace among idols and expecting them to change their flaws over time. Tbf, it’s only 8 months and the boys are still finding their foothold in Holostars. We already hear them talking about trying to improve their singing skills and trying to get their health better. Sometimes, I think we should be patient about what their future holds for them. That’s part of the idol journey which is improving one’s self. We’ve seen several of Holo members who are not confident in their singing abilities and have relapses in their early careers but they improved
If your oshi doesn’t meet your expectations, maybe they’re not meant for you. Instead of wallowing yourself negativity and despising their every move, it’s best to maybe back out for a bit.

Not the OP. Just wanted to add that even Octavio from the “more professional” side isn’t immune from being put down by the fanbase as seen just a few pages back when his M&G didn’t get sold out like Ruze & Jurard.
