I don’t follow BNF like tako or sushi and I don’t really follow Armis closely as I am just more of a JP and Tempus fan and I am a very casual EN viewer. But what the fuck is happening in the Bubby fandom?! I’m caught up to Pg. 13 of Armis, but like… I feel like I’m losing braincells. Does that person seriously think that GB is her BOYFRIEND?! HUH?! That is insane. Can someone ELI5 and TLDR me on this?
Goldbullet has been interacting with fans on Twitter DMs and gaming with them. Screenshots of these interactions were leaked by Tako during the initial months of his debut. It was later revealed that Goldbullet had made doodles for some prominent fans (BNFs) and favored them over other fans who had paid for the same Tier level, resulting in delays for those fans receiving their doodles.
A few months ago, Tako sold all her Goldbullet merchandise and removed his oshimark, subsequently subtweeting and expressing her dissatisfaction with him. The situation escalated when she and her group responded to the official Gamma Termination Tweet, suggesting that another member should be terminated instead. Members of a semi-private Discord shared a screenshot in which Tako and her supporters claimed that Goldbullet should be terminated, alleging that he wanted to date her but instead started meeting with another fan, possibly Ella Eves. If true, this is a serious allegation. Tako has reported the incident repeatedly, but so far, Cover has not responded to her reports.
There is evidence that Goldbullet DMd both Tako and Ella, which some interpret as inappropriate. However, since all involved are adults, the actions may be seen as unethical but not illegal.

Sorry to keep this going but… obviously it’s true that Gibby is dumb for messaging fans despite his intentions, but it’s irritating me that people are saying “why didn’t he learn from the past” and “he’s a grown man”. He deserves criticism, but y’all are also babying Tako.
They’re both adults. To say that Gibby should magically know how to set boundaries because he was abused in the past has to be the most victim-blamey shit I’ve ever heard. Why do people who are abused at home get in abusive relationship after abusive relationship? Should they learn? Yeah, but it’s not that simple.
Again Gibby is naive sometimes (and before anyone says it, I absolutely do not baby that man), but at the same time you guys put these mfers on a pedestal like they’re not also humans. They don’t just magically lose all their trauma and bad habits because they got bare minimum PR training.
Tako being a female also doesn’t make her less responsible for her own behavior either. Mental health is an explanation, but not an excuse. You’re quick to use mental health to ignore the unhinged shit Tako does, but Gibby is also knows to have issues with his mental and physical health.
I’m not denying any of the points that he has a position of power and should set boundaries as a streamer, but I don’t like the ableist tone we’re using, painting Tako as a helpful little girl while Gibby is this manipulative old man. It’s such a weird narrative. Tako is currently in therapy too as she’s stated on the tl. She’s responsible for herself.

Some perspective: The chat interaction could really just be Ella wanting to have a fun banter dynamic because Ella is still very much supportive of GB. She has not shown to be publicly or privately (as far as we know) hostile/angry with GB at all like Tako is being nor does it look like she holds some vendetta. All those screenshots on Ella’s priv just proves that she just wants to support and have fun with her oshi, that’s it. Which is common among a lot of the artists that are in the Vtuber sphere who draw for their oshis. They more than likely aren’t even that close, Ella is just goofing around. This shows he has DMed others, but it’s not super heinous like Tako or anyone else is making it out to be. It really is just making a big deal out of interactions that aren’t actually a problem when you actually think about them.
I think an important detail people are being dismissive of is that Gibby was in multiple fans dms (and seems like still is talking to a particular fan?) and is in a position of power. As well as everyone he dmed were young women in their early 20s. The dude is creepy at best and doesn’t belong in HoloStars.
Show the evidence that this occurred. Idgaf if he DMed fans anyway. I want to know the content of the messages, cuz y’all love to make shit up. Was he DMing them about using their art or a thumbnail, or was he DMing them flirting?
You literally just put 3 buzzwords in there to imply that he did something morally wrong, but there’s no proof. If you can’t back it up, then shut it up.

DV magnet opinion but I am once again feeling that while there’s nothing wrong with Gibby as a person (in fact it’s nice that he is who he is) he should never have been hired into this position.
Ruze is so incredibly creative and it’s so much fun to see how his mind works, especially with his holomarches stuff. I hope a lot of people join into it, because I’d love to see it become a thing for for however long it could be kept a float. Even just today with his zade RP stuff or the whole rainbow ruzes, it’s so much fun and i’m glad he gets spoiled by ruzaders every stream.
I love all his RP and worldbuilding stuff! Really shows his creativity in action. Holo didn’t hire one dude, they hired like 10-15 of them packaged in one body.
