My oshi is Jurard but I hated his 10+ hours endurance stream, I’m sorry… His endurance vod is exhausting. Heck, I never even touch any of his vod that goes more than 5 hours. I’m missing out on tons of his content. 10+hrs is A LOT. Even if i tried to skipped through while watching that’s still hours upon hours of content to watch. I don’t have the time. Even sad, everyone else celebrated him starting 10+ hrs stream again. I feel like i don’t have any say in this and just have to deal with it. I’m sure after this i’m about to missed out even more. I feel like why am i even here? And it made me constantly thinking “sorry for having life outside of sitting around watching vtuber. skill issue i guess”. It’s not a nice feeling. 🙁
Don’t feel bad about it, we appreciate you for giving your time to him. What I do personally when he does these endurance streams is to divide the time of the vod for example [10 hrs would mean that I’d watch 1 hr of that specific vod per day] at the same time watching recent steams. If I can’t make it, just add to my list of ”next vods to watch”. But again, you don’t have to watch the vods, there are endurance streams that I watch only a portion and then I hop on to the next.
With someone who streams as much as he does, at a certain point you have to accept you’re not going to be able to watch everything and just prioritize the highlights or specific games that interest you. Jurard is my Armis oshi, but he usually streams during the exact hours I need to sleep in order to be a functioning adult, so I miss quite a bit of his content as well. The endurance streams are nice for me because I can actually catch a decent amount live since the last few hours are right when I wake up.
The FOMO sucks, but I really doubt that there are many fans who are actually able to watch every single hour he streams. I think most of us are in the same boat. Well, most EST and PST people, at least.
I guess there are clippers who grab the most interesting parts, but it’s really a different feeling when you catch moments live vs. watching a vod… FOMO real.
Small vent here in the Badlands because Gibby and Ruze both happen to have done this recently.
As someone with lots of stuff going on IRL, full guerilla weeks are pain. I can’t drop everything to jump on and watch a stream. VOD Gang is valid and I’ve been there, but it’s not the saaaaaaaame.
I only regularly follow Ruze’s sched so I can only give my Ruzader thoughts. My guess is he did not anticipate how hard it would be to pin down character creation with the other boys and decided to make his schedule this week flexible (guerilla) to accommodate theirs and get HoloMarches, uh, marching.
Outside of this, Ruze has been one of the most consistent and considerate streamers I’ve watched about schedules and changes to it. So given the context, and him mentioning how much he has to prep for this passion project off-stream, I don’t feel so disappointed about him not having a sched this week.
I agree that it’s likely for HoloMarches one-on-one character creation. D&D is overwhelming to complete newbies, and they likely have a plethora of basic questions. I also wouldn’t be surprised if there were others besides Hakka that have a character concept but don’t know how to match it to a class/background. Ruze can also add homebrew adjustments at this stage for their specific characters. (Hopefully we’ll see testicular torsion?) Walking everyone through it would be better for everyone’s fun in the long term.
I’m glad guerrilla streams are not the norm for Ruze, I’m sure he’s just trying to wrangle and accommodate the boys schedules to get HoloMarches on track and honestly I think that’s worth waiting a little bit for. I have vods to catch up on anyway!

It’s a big part of why I like Ruze so much he is consistent in delivering what he promises to the point that if he misses a stream or is late most people are glad he’s getting sleep.
And it’s why I can’t commit to Gibby even though I like him cause even when he has a schedule he shows up early and I can’t watch it cause I missed 30 mins to an hour and then his VODs are too long to commit to.(I recognize I am weird for this)
