Anyone notice barely anyone redirects to Tavi? Even with Stars EN boys, much less JP. I noticed this when he was raided by a big ID Vtuber last night and his subs shot up by 200. Meanwhile Jurard gets a lot of raids. I wonder if his settings are wrong… He mentioned too that he gets raided more on Twitch.
He seems back to wildly jumping timeslots lately, which probably makes it worse. The latest jump competes directly with Shinri and Ruze if he starts at 6PM PST or Hakka if he starts at 5PM PST.
Between streaming on 2 platforms and his NA-friendly timeslot varying, I don’t even know when the little dude streams anymore. Jurard’s much easier to default to since he only changes his start time for collabs.
Tavi’s most consistent timeslot is 9pm JST which is also 5am PST. The ones other than him live during this time are JP, ID and Jurard. If Jurard streams for 5-6 hours then he’d redirect to someone from JP or ID first rather than raid a waiting room.
Isn’t he on Twitch half the time when he streams during that time? Also, Jurard doesn’t understand the meaning of a short stream and regularly will raid into Gibby, who officially starts at 8AM PST, though it’s typically a bit earlier.
Tavi’s menshis are also during this timeslot. Obviously nobody can’t raid him there. However a lot of his previous OcTalks episodes without guests were also in this timeslot. With the format change, OcTalks Radio would be scheduled in that timeslot if his guest is Asia-based (IDK what timeslot would be ideal for Axel). Unless he announces that Artic Eggs in 5 hours will be on Twitch, he’d only stream on Twitch once this week.
Twitch once a week is his norm. He’d stream there more than once a week if he’s playing a game against poppets or he’s playing MGS. Wasn’t his basis whether he’d stream a game on Twitch vs. YT is if the game would take several streams to finish? He’s conscious of Youtube’s algorithm and wants his game livestreams to appear more varied. He has considered guerilla streaming Metaphor: ReFantanzio on Twitch if he has the free time during his days off so it is possible he’d stream that game twice a week.
I thought he was just doing his deep dive series on Twitch, but I haven’t been keeping up with him as much recently because of the timeslot jumps. (Yes, he has a schedule, but usually I just prefer to show up at a designated time unless it’s something I don’t want to miss. Harder to do when he could be live at 8AM, 8PM, 9PM, or midnight now for EST) I was somewhat surprised that he was doing MGS on Twitch since that’s shorter than the other games he’s been picking for Twitch.
Axel’s been streaming his games before his classes around 11PM EST and guerilla zatsu at like 10AM EST, so it could go either way. Something around the usual ARMIS collab timeslot would probably be better since Tavi likely wants the Axelotls to be able to watch the fun.
The two I see who raid him most often are Axel and Shinri since they generally have the latest slots before the hours that Jurard and Octavio start in.
Shinri’s streams tend to end when Jurard starts so he often redirects there. Jurard being an endurance streamer will overlap Tavi’s schedule and so Tavi ends up raiding into Jurard instead.
Even on Jurard’s off days, there are hardly any StarsEN streams before Tavi’s unless any of the boys stream later than their usual schedule.
Probably his timeslot. I notice Tempus usually prioritizes raiding each other, Armis boys are usually spaced out too far to raid him, and I’ve almost never seen the JP boys raid anyone. Luckily I don’t think raids really do anything for them anyways, but I’m glad he gets them on twitch at least.
yep I was gonna say JP doesn’t really have a raid culture like EN does. even the hololive girls don’t tend to raid very often. and his timeslot just doesn’t often overlap with the end of a stream for most boys, if anything sometimes they raid into his waiting room but most people coming from another stream aren’t gonna wait an hour or more for a stream to start.
Anon that want this site to be more alive. I don’t even see you live posting the boys stream. Smh, you want changes but don’t want to do the work.
Anyway, watch Jurard’s stream. So far he had done no pixel art, his minecraft cat had died, kill most of his sheep because it got out, talking about eating liver, raw chicken and sperm (fish) when Axel and Shinri raid.
And finally he gave up and start using Altare’s gift silk touch pickaxe to get grass because his sheep keep eating it.
I love how his scheduled debut throwback is “Something I Promised A Long Time Ago” but the true debut throwback is being a complete disaster in Minecraft and just barely finishing his goal, even if it’s a little messed up. (New Years Countdown fireworks, Sorawrity negative space diknbawls)
Imma be honest with you guys, as much as others said our armis boys have good chemistry with each other they are bad when it comes to getting together to do something unless it is an obligation.
Jurard just loves to go do stuff on his own and mostly collab with other ppl than with stars or armis. Gibby had improved during his deadlock grind and even help do the hallowarmis collab. Octavio hop into collab often like Ruze and has ongoing project with Hakka and Axel. Yet, wrangling the boys to do collab or project together usually will fall to Ruze and he’s busy with Holomarches.
I’m expecting their anniversary project happened to be in the same situation too. And only at the last minute management decided to pull together all of them and now the project will not be finish on time. So stay excited but not too much. I just hope they at least can get one ori song out on anniversary
If management had to wrangle them at the last second for their anniversary, then that’s management’s fault isn’t it? They’re not indies. Even if the content rests on the talent, they still have managers to lock them in and they’re supposed to lock in months in advanced. As much as you praise Ruze, guess who keeps saying the coverment is on his ass because of late work.
That said, I don’t believe last week’s guerilla week is because of last minute anniversary plans. I’m more willing to believe its because of their 3D deadlines like song recordings/concepts/scripts.
nta, but i agree. arrange something big like anniv. should be mane-san responsibility. sure, the boys can put any input of it, but they’re in a corporation. wrangling their employees should be their job, not the talents.
Jurard admitted to having the mindset of not wanting to bother other people for unscheduled shenanigans, Tavi doesn’t do random gaming collabs either since his games of choice are largely single-player, Gibby has only recently joining guerillas via casual invites, meanwhile Ruze will jump anyone when he’s in the mood.
Even presuming they’re not “real friends” so much as coworkers doing their obligations to the company, they do mesh well and are very entertaining when together.
Anyway, I cherish dearly the minecraft and deadlock guerilla collabs.
…idk how to tell you this, but they are adults w/ pre-existing obligation before debuting together. we can’t expect them to be always chummy to each other (pretty much like how we treat co-workers lmao).
i think Ruze also used to had this mindset (the way he assume everyone will easily went along w/ Holomarches kinda shows that), but once he realized that some boys were not interested in the first place… yea
That’s why i always cherish every Armis collabs that we had (esp. first half of their first year) . I mean… i don’t remember HQ and VG doing collabs that much, cmiiw.
While I don’t have a guess yet on what they’d do as a group, individually… Tavi was thinking of rebroadcasting all of his unarchived karaoke back-to-back. This was after Hakka had his 10 hour rebroadcast because it looped 3 times. Dunno if he’ll do it but I hope he does. He doesn’t have to be in chat all the time when the inspo was asleep for most of his 10 hour rebroadcast.
If anyone is rewatching their debut then it won’t be Gibby – he had his debut watchalong for half anni.
They suddenly decide to just have a guerilla week feels like a last minute decision too since most of them already had a week sched except for jurard. I dont even remember what they did for half anniv lol
(OP) I’d been hyped for like two months, but honestly just the blah vibe he had talking about it killed some of said hype. Telling myself he just helped temper my expectations because looking back I was pretty delusional about what the anniversary could bring LOL. I won’t lie and say I’m super hyped, if anything I’m just mildly hopeful now but also I can’t help wonder what the red tape strangled again.
I feel like so many stars events in the past have been hyped up too much and not lived up to expectations, so I can understand why he might not want people getting set up for that again. I enjoy his normal streams so I look forward to whatever extra fun is planned.
I don’t get this. Can you tell me a bit on which events that are overhype because i think for tempus pretty much the fanbase know how things gonna go and sometimes the boys also just outright said what they gonna do for an event to their chat. For armis i understand because i’ve definitely get disappointed when an event turns out to just be them doing zatsu together.
I wouldn’t call it overhyped, but the official stuff has been getting constantly mangled, and whatever plans that ARMIS had sounds like they’ve been choked up in the same red tape that’s messed up things for everyone else.
Off the top of my head:
Birthday Covers
Delayed: Octavio, Flayon, Axel
Cancelled: Hakka
In Purgatory: Goldbullet
Bettel’s August 19th event: Merch drop delayed by a month, cover delay
TEMPUS 2nd Anniversary: Orisong went to jail for a month; originally was posted on the wrong channel (official channel when it should have been on Hakka’s)
Coming from the Tempus side, the boys/Tempura are definitely overly cautious on hyping up big events, it’s very noticable. The massive one-two punch of the fucked up half anniversary and delayed/fucked up 1st anniversary still clearly weigh on everyone’s minds. Both of those were insanely hyped up by everyone…but the first was majorly soured by Vesper’s entire deal, while the delayed anniversary/graduations is just a whole thing all on it’s own. Altare and Axel are the most likely to keep peoples expectations level, though Axel is far more guilty of really underhyping his important events.
It’s possible the boys and management advised to Armis to keep things more chill versus hyping it up, but they might have underplayed it a bit, in my opinion.
The HQ half-anni and first anni were out of the ordinary circumstances and also before Ruze’s time, so I didn’t think it was worth bringing up. That may have affected their attitudes, but it doesn’t change that they have been telling us to lower our expectations for events that did, indeed, get messed up. Axel didn’t get his orginal birthday merch concept nor did his cover come out on time. No one’s been going, “yeah, don’t get too excited,” over an event that’s gone perfectly to plan. I don’t even know if we’ve had one of those this year.
Ruze commented that the thing they were working on could maybe be released in the future, so it seemed closer to the other 2024 disappointments in nature.
This branch is so fucked up. Fuck management for holding the boys back. I know Yagoo cares but since more members are added and becoming more corporate, Holostars EN are going to be neglected more than ever. I know it sounds cynical and quite doomerism but seeing the boys being demotivated, makes me think that the upper management doesn’t care anymore. I won’t be surprised if none of the boys are going to be performing in the New Years’ countdown except for Axel since he’s staying in Japan during those periods.
It’s p not that they don’t care, but more like their company structure is too much of a mess with Cover’s explosive growth. I don’t have the quarterly report handy, but they’ve been hiring at an insane rate for the past year or two, and there’s no way that management has a handle on training these new people while remembering what new hires are supposed to be getting which responsibilities. They’ve probably been screwing things up for the girls, too. We just don’t know all their issues in depth. The biggest ones that stand out is Ina’s visa paperwork falling through the cracks and Gura not being allowed to have her mixers mix her voice the way she wants.
They’ve never paid for overseas talents to come for optional appearances, so no surprises there if Axel’s the only EN member that shows up in Countdown. Now, if Axel wanted to participate and they somehow didn’t include him, then I’d be shitting on management.
The girls have had the same problems with perms and cover/song bottlenecks this year (notably Kronii’s second orisong being extremely delayed and Gura’s still trapped), so this has been an entire EN side problem. It’s also that the girls have had a rush of events starting in summer and have kept rolling, while the guys had most of their exciting stuff at the beginning of the year until June.
As for the NY Countdown, JP management controls that in the end. There’s literally no reason Tempus can’t be in the Countdown, especially since it’s not even bloating the Stars side. It’d be adding 6 people to a roster of 12, and the Hololive side is capable of holding the same show with 50+ girls. But StarsJP management has always been weird about adding EN to shit for no explainable reason, so we’ll see.
