I know that chatter’s name indicate who their other oshi is but jeez on their SC bringing them up. They weren’t in the latest Monthly Ruzolve, were they? The time was not SEAzader friendly.

I was put off hearing Ruze read that soup aloud. Not the time to advertise even if it involves an Armis member because that Armis member isn’t Ruze. They weren’t even the ruzader being drawn onscreen.

I genuinely wish Ruze would start skipping soups. I know that’s a big part of his appeal in that everyone gets to feel included, but it might finally deter a lot of this attention grabbing behavior.
Also during the POE 2 surprise collab with Shinri and Axel, if felt really weird to see a soup that said “I think we need to k-word Axel agreed?”. That one left a bad taste in my mouth as someone who oshis both guys….

Same, I feel so awkward since it’s not the first time I’ve seen some iffy messages about Axel. Also saw some messages complaining about Jurard being there in a weekly collab at one point and was absolutely baffled. Like that’s his genmate, don’t say it in chat. The other boys aren’t props; they’re his friends! Plus, if Ruze ACTUALLY had a problem, he’d talk to them!More recently he felt the need to constantly reiterate, “do NOT attack Jurard for this; don’t even mention it to him. He didn’t know.” re: session 1 reflections and Jurard making sound effects over him. Sucks that it’s a precaution that he had to take.

I’ve seen people blame “tumblr sjws,” which is…sort of true, but I don’t think it’s the same way that people are thinking of. 2012 tumblr, along with Homestuck itself, had its own style of humor that you can tell has influenced Ruze and likely attracted other people who were teens and college students during that era. Most obvious one is the detailed overly-specific and goofy descriptions he uses for insults. I also have no idea why, but a LOT of people from that era also got into Dungeons and Dragons.
Nowadays, the 2012 tumblr crowd is about 25-40, with jobs and discretionary funds. Some of these people never grew up, so now we get this.

I see so many people in ruzader discord who will not shut the fuck about sc/gifted numbers. What’s weirder is it’s people who openly say they don’t really support him and hope they get a gifted membership each month, so it’s extra weird to flex other people’s support when you had nothing to do with it.
Also related to numbers, Ruze has reiterated he doesn’t really care about them other than using it to see what people do or don’t like, yet people can’t stop bringing up his sub count either. He’s made it clear he isn’t in a hurry to reach milestones if it isn’t genuine growth.

Not OP but I assume it’s the latter. Ruze said “You guys helped me pay Little Lady’s vet bills… but don’t you shove it to people’s faces”. Then he continues with how not everybody can support their oshi like ruzaders can so don’t make it a competition. It’s hurtful to other talents and their fans, and it’ll make Ruze look like a dick.

I’ve seen some weird self-brags about “Ruzaders are so generous” when it comes to money, and it’s been so off-putting for some of them to have fostered that sort of attitude within the community. Ruze was my second-most watched this year, but I don’t want to interact with other fans because of this kind of thing.

Yeah I had seen Tweets months back bragging about superchat numbers and menshi gifts in a “pat ourselves on the back Ruzaders are so great” kind of way, and it’s pretty depressing to see that that mentality has only gotten worse.

i bet that’s the plan. liz is releasing covers of carols starting with let it snow x3 followed by the christmas song (the one that starts with “chestnuts roasting on an open fire”) on the 11th. they could duet one or both songs. if she’s releasing a third or more christmas cover then they could sing that instead. imagine if they duet on a christmas song during octalks then the official cover releases right after the stream.

Jurard starting with a half-hour long zatsu is fairly normal while Ruze typically jumps right into the game. Last time I remember Ruze addressing it during a regular stream, he tacked it onto the end.
Analytics wise, it takes about an hour for everyone to trickle into a stream, which is right when Ruze started going over housekeeping.

Yeah the recent FSP debuts really shows how uninformed they are. Vtuber siblings are a cute goofy gimmick when the talents themselves wanna make a deal of it, but otherwise it’s literally just companies hiring the same artist and fans should let it go. that behavior likely solidified those 2 will never really interact.

A lot of Armis fans in general are new to vtubing and especially the etiquette that comes with corporate vtubers. Dokigeddon got a lot of normie eyes on vtubers as a whole and new fans need a lot of reminding

Those fans I can fully understand but there are a lot of 6+ month badge members that still act like chat is a Discord general. And they have definitely heard Ruze talk about all this before, so it’s just confusing why it’s still a problem.

As an 11-month old Ruzader that didn’t watch streamers or vtubers until Armis, chat etiquette isn’t hard to pick up on. The behavior almost seems willful.
For some serial rule-breaking viewers, it doesn’t seem like a fluency issue if you consider their behaviors in other spaces
