This is why removing the Armis plushies video is so bizarre. Is Hololive’s social media team out of touch on what’s considered playful vs. malicious for them to believe claims of the latter? The ideas for the video have to pass StarsEN management first before it was filmed and posted. I don’t know if anything was lost in translation but maybe internal communication wasn’t clear, which sucks if true.

It’s already a problem with all branches. Astel mentioned in his GTA VCR stream that communication is like a “telephone game.” IMO, Cover should focus on hiring more staff for behind-the-scenes work. The company is growing bigger and we already have 90 talents.

I don’t think it’s number of staff as much as it is lack of structure between departments. They went from 375 employees to 600+ in the time between HQ debuts and now. New hires take time to train, which takes away time from other employees to do their jobs, and it’s enough of a mess that even casual fans can see them screwing up. Upper management also seems to be able to go, “we saw this, and we don’t like it,” and retroactively make rules at any point they want. Even the streaming rules are unclear. We all assumed that gloves were mandatory since the start, but it wasn’t a company rule until IRyS did her nail painting stream. Bae also didn’t know that she’d have to chop up her 24 stream due to multiple perms despite fans knowing that one game per stream is the current standard.

I think it’s mostly just that people are hoping they’ll be able to do stuff with the other boys while they’re in Japan. I don’t think many of them are planning to stay there for a particularly long time, so it’s probably a pretty limited window before they head back.
