(not OP) but i agree w/ you. i think Ruze already trying to learn to ignore there weird messages (imo, it’s his own fault for way too much interacting w/ chat without minding the rules he established by himself), but people in here prefer observing how other people behave in his chat rather that focusing on him. it was fine before, but now it feels like… witchhunting (?) esp. only 1 person said that.

it was witchhunting before too, rules of the site are to not talk about specific fans but nonnies think they’re geniuses for blocking out names to talk shit. it’s not just this page though it’s been going on with the site since day 1, if admin doesn’t moderate or enforce anything then it is what it is. gestures vaguely to off-topic page
armis page is filled with a bunch of cops now, yeah some fans are clueless or entitled and it’s annoying but so is the ruzader police showing up every day to pass out their no no slips. im sick of coming here when i see updates on the side and no one is talking about ruze but instead his dumb chat.

I usually enjoy interacting in chat and his is hard to engage in so yeah it’s annoying when he’s my favorite and I can’t feel comfortable in chat when I am in many others.

not all, and especially not the person in the op, but many people Ruze has addressed about various problems (number bragging, pre chat stuff) have stopped doing so and apologized. This place is so obsessed with nit picking people they are free to block and would rather talk about that and make it seem like the whole chat of hundreds of viewers are like them instead talking about what’s on stream and how fucking adorable all 100 of these commissions have turned out for a self proclaimed non artist.

I just sigh and shake my head. How can you be in EVERY stream he does, on his twitter, in his replies, long time fan, been around maybe the full year, and STILL disrespect him like this? WHILE MENTIONING THAT YOU KNOW THE RULES BUT ARE TRYING TO FIND LOOPHOLES??? Do you even listen to him? Do you even hear yourself? It flabbergasts me. Sometimes I wonder if having direct access to the 3D person behind the anime man via livestreams on his own account makes the most dedicated members of a fanbase feel more entitled to that person, augmenting whatever negative trait that fanbase is associated with. People have constantly been bringing up the Bettelion as a comparison, and Magmites sure were….that.

If anything he’s more abrasive, direct, sets more boundaries and is less welcoming to his new audience on PL. He focuses on chatting with his old hats and collabing with long time friends and straight tells people to fuck off without any corporate filtering. They don’t have “extra access” to him by viewing streams on another platform, and watching Lark actually made me more respectful of Ruze because I see how he WANTS to set his standards but is somewhat hamstrung by needing to meet the company’s needs, be an idol who cultivates an audience and does some level of fanservice.

That’s why I said “feel.” You’re bringing up logic, but logic has gone out the window when streamer says not to do something and fanbase decides to disregard it completely.
It’s not just the fact that he’s on a PL, but the flesh bit that I’m wondering about. You get to see the pilot of the model move around in a 3D space, and it’s a behind-the-scenes peek that most of the audience doesn’t see. An actual human face hits different compared to an alternate anime png. This can give people even greater “cause” to think they’re in some sort of special inner circle, as seen when people try to make cheeky “if you know, you know” type of jokes. Or that one person who went around going, “if he didn’t like it, why would he still interact with us on PL?”
Logically, it’s not that special. PL shit is incredibly easy to find these days, and YouTube will show it to you even if you try to stay away. But again, no logic to bad behavior. The guys who stream on old accounts as meat bags just seem to have had the worst issues by far.

Tangent – I’ve tried having chat open for the past few streams I’ve watched, and I’ve come to the sad realization that none of the regulars I used to see or bounce off of in chat on the current stream topic are there, either. Granted, I haven’t bothered chatting for 7-8 months at this point, but still.

Just so you know you aren’t crazy, here’s my own tangent: when Ruze did the guerilla LoL stream with Bettel, I decided to watch Ruze’s side and to sit and talk in chat. Went in, said hello, tried to talk, all that. I bailed out to Bettel’s stream/chat after like 20 minutes because it became clear that like 90% of chat wasn’t paying attention at all (the normal Ruzader Discord General off topic chatting), with only a few people either trying to explain League to others or were reacting to the things Ruze and Bettel were saying.

True, but I originally stopped chatting because the chat turned into something that wasn’t for me anymore. If they went to lurking-only for the same reason that I did, it’s disappointing to see evidence that there was a notable amount of people who became less engaged because of it. Not a big deal in the end, though.

I’m glad that I found the armis boys this year. Their enthusiasm and passion for what they do is so contagious. Watching how excited they are about their projects, one would think that they only debuted last month. They deserve double the support that they are receiving now from both fans and management. I wish Cover realizes how fortunate they are to have these talents.

I like it that Tavi is cooking hard, but at the same time, I understand Manesan’s concern. Burnout is real. And when it hits, it hits hard. There is also the risk of overexposure.
