Unpopular opinion and a bit of complaining. I’m tired of other sorawrity saying they LOVES watchalong for menshi. I don’t, it’s boring. And i know there are sorawrity who enjoy it just because they can stare at his face and not even watching the movies but i don’t.
Thing is, I have repeatedly suggested to banchou to just do a zatsu if he wanted to atleast do something easy for his membership content but i either got ignored or he said “i want to do something” (???). He’s clearly loves talking. Doing zatsu is the easiest content for menshi especially since he said he’s more comfortable with us in menshi. Yet the rest of the sorawrity keep suggesting watchalong. In his tier 2 menshi there are ONLY 7 watchalongs and 2 zatsu. I can watch zatsu many times but not watchalong. I feel not worth paying for it anymore so for months i’ve only subscribed to the lowest tier and i’m not yume enough to get the higher tier content.
Someone else, please tell him to do something else too.

memberships are to support them, sure, but the content is a large portion of it too. you’re not less of a fan for only having T1- it’s there if you want the emotes but don’t care about the menshi content. that’s the whole point of it.

I love his watchalongs, and I’m generally not a watchalong person at all. I love how excited he gets about movies. It’s really fun to watch stuff with him because he’s so invested in every little thing that happens.
Why would you want more zatsus? Literally every stream Jurard does has at least an hour of zatsu, and him trying to speak more freely behind menshi isn’t really a good thing, IMO, because he tends to get carried away and say dumb things he shouldn’t.
I’d like to see him do some other stuff for menshi, don’t get me wrong, but menshi watchalongs > menshi zatsus for me.

I am a huge classic horror movies fan and got pretty excited when he announced that he’s going to watch Alien. I watch and support Jurard more than other stars because his content matches my interests.

Yeah, I love horror movies as well, so that’s a big part of why I enjoy his watchalongs so much. I guess it’s not for everyone, but I find horror films the most fun to watch with a group

some people bought menshi to support their oshi, the others for the contents. both are valid tbh. just make sure take care of yourself and set the priorities.

unfortunately jurard menshi is one of the “less worth it” amongst the boys, between the amounts of breaks he takes, preferring to prioritize public marathon streams almost any week, and only doing watchalongs on T2. bettel and altare are very much the same, lots of months of breaks and only watchalongs, which are my absolute least favorite type of content by far. i’d say just evaluate whether you want to put the money in only to support him, or if you should cancel and grab somebody else’s. if you enjoy hakka/shinri/octavio/ruze i would say they are the most worthwhile menshi by far, since they post a lot of community posts, photo blogs, lots of streaming hours in general, creative streams relevant to their interests like game making, studying, music making and cover recordings, acapella, DND worldbuilding, etc.

Here’s a quick duality of Shiny Spicy menshi, just as an example: if you want zatsu streams, that’s the majority of Axel’s T2 menshi. I don’t know how to sell it better than take a normal Axel zatsu but lose even more filter and he gets twice as cute. A bunch of archived karaoke streams are also locked there, and he’ll do random menshi-only karaoke and ASMR streams. Plus he uses his menshi more than his Twitter so he posts a lot (little things that happen or pictures). He does very slightly more for T3 but that’s another thing. I’ve never felt cheated having Axel’s membership in 2 and a half years even if it doesn’t seem like a lot.
On the opposite side, I had Altare’s T2 menshi for around a year or so and I finally dropped it cause…honestly it’s not worth it. Besides his once a week instrument practice/zatsu stream and a random watchalong every once in a while, he doesn’t really do anything else. Very few posts, nothing really extra. And I like Altare too! I just feel bad for the more dedicated Cultare that they really don’t get much…

Poor coding mostly. All membership posts are, frustratingly, like that. When I want to check out someone’s menshi VODs, I just scroll back on their live page and look for the green text.

well nobody is forcing you to pay for menshi if you find the content boring lol. but people are allowed to want something more than watchalongs for the money they are paying especially if it’s their oshi and yeah, you might find that content boring but it’s more variation compared to others apparently. which is why the anon suggested the other boys’ content since op was craving more/different menshi content and like the other anon stated, sometimes you need to evaluate if it’s worth your money and sometimes it’s \unfortunately\ not. got nothing to do with being poor.

Hey, it’s perfectly OK to vent and you’re in the right venue for it too. 🙂 Personally, I do enjoy his watchalongs because I like his movie picks. But yes, his zatsus are in the higher tiers, maybe because he yaps nonstop in most of his regular streams anyway? Also, iirc one of his earlier zatsu was leaked so it’s risky to have a lot of those in T2.

well, then I’m weird one.
I pay t3 to one of the boys and when they did watchalong, because i dont have other gadget to access the watchalong also sometimes i dont like the movie. I simply skip it, but i dont feel like i’m paying too much. I want to stay at T3 cause that’s the limit i can pay per month and with mindset of I’m helping them. from what I heard, no 1 to support them was Menshi gift and Menshi. cause the menshi’s cut for the boys was bigger than SC

In all fairness to him, he has tried to do some other things (JP learning with Duolingo + ring fit, I think?) and in both cases he found out too late he wasn’t allowed to stream those specific things behind menshi and had to either delete the vods or cancel

Anon thats the content he put behind tier 3. JP learning stream for tier 3 which is like 3 or 4 times more expensive than tier 2. I don’t sub to his membership but i think his membership content definitely is lacking when you check on the preview.
