Numbers like subs and etc don’t mean shit to talents most likely but they’re still profitable in a company setting. There’s a reason why talents still set subscriber milestones and they grant one million subscriber wishes and not x amount of superchats given in a year or most super chats in a year rewards to talents. I’m happy ruze is successful in both views per stream and super chats and gifted but saying numbers don’t matter to a streaming corporation is a bit silly.

i honestly don’t mind it that much, as long as it’s not derail the stream too much (like that rock handcam stream, god i hate that one).
now he’s still learning to prevent that (ex. not read aloud every soup even if it’s against his own stream rules lmao). i’m still excited to see where his journey going from here (esp. after the anniv survey).

The medical bills thing felt weird to me after seeing him in japan like 2 or 3 weeks after that stream with his family like cmon are you really being serious. I know that only he had his ticket paid for by an outside source but I doubt his family paid for their tickets and so it just felt in such poor taste. I know the boys all have frequent donators who don’t really care but damn if it wasn’t just a little bit scummy. Atleast ruze doesn’t do this whole “get me out of my trailer park!” shit. When he does the sc baiting it’s either lore or something similar.

I’m extremely relieved that I’m not the only viewer feeling like this. I’ve been a die hard Hakkito since day 1 and I don’t even want to discuss how much money I’ve dropped during his first year. At first it was because I genuinely wanted to help his situation but at one point he ramped up the shill and supa begging so much that I can’t stand it anymore. As discussed in other comments, Ruze at least makes the supas worthwhile and I actually enjoy contributing to goals during handcam streams but Hakka constantly makes me feel like I’m being guilt tripped into donating. I don’t want to make it seem like I dislike him, because I don’t and still support him, but the entire money situation has lessened my enjoyment of his streams.

i think i can kinda understand what nonnie feels? when my oshi is in pain or in need and I can’t send monetary aid because im tight on budget then i cant help but feel terrible, on the other hand I don’t feel the need to send a supa for bits or jokes so even if i don’t give a single cent it’s no problem, it won’t make me feel like a bad person for not sending support and i can just sit back and enjoy the stream. i try to give whatever i can but some days are just bad. not gonna blame it on any of the boys though we’re all struggling.

NTA but I understand this Nonnie to an extent. The way Ruze is able to get superchats and gifts is a freaking master class: he knows what to do and say and most of the time he rewards people for their support in creative ways. He’s honestly better at it than Bettel or Magni, who were notorious for baiting out big money from their fanbase’s. It’s respectable cause doing that with a consistent audience is hard to maintain.
That being said sometimes there’s also this…I don’t know how to describe it but for lack of a better term, feeling of sleeze to it as well? Like there’s a point where it doesn’t feel like it’s a creator having fun and you feel like giving them a higher donation for fun, you feel like it’s someone trying to repeatedly swindle you and you can’t help but look at everything cautiously because of it.

I’m more ok with Ruze’s baits because it never feels serious. Just very lighthearted, I guess? Like contributing to it makes the atmosphere funnier, not even as a celebration but more like pitching in the potluck party with others. And the way ruzaders, especially the ones spending big money, go along with his bits, it seems that they think what they get in return is worth the cost.

This is my perspective too, I never feel like he is twisting the ruzader’s heartstrings. In fact, most of the time his potential sc baits feel like he’s expecting nothing to bite, or for the chat to say “haha, no way asshole” the way axelotls just raise an eyebrow at scamniki (but the axelotls always end up paying their aniki to bully him, same for the zaders, lmao!), and then he facepalms and starts screaming at himself when his audience says aite bet, here’s your soup. Knowing when to balance the reaction/thanking/interacting of the supa with actually continuing the rest of the stream and staying with his bit is becoming better with practice, like anon said above the rock cracking stream was awful about getting derailed, but today’s was lighthearted fun and he incorporated the chat goal into the action of the game nicely.

Last year was the first time I can recall that almost every active talent visited the Expo at the same time, so I wouldn’t exactly count on that happening again.
Though if Armis does their showcases before Expo, it’s possible the DJ Music battle stage they have will be done with all talents in 3D, which would mean flying in the rest of Tempus prior to Expo. There might be a chance there but again, I’d keep your expectations lower just in case.

I wish they had more chemistry with JP in the past year, since they’ve had very little interaction so far. They had that minecraft collab way at the start, and that was it. I fear Armis are not quite as outgoing as Hakka and Flayon are with JP. It’s also a shame Rust season 3 never happened.Miyabi and Temma appearing in Flayon’s stream made sense, but if JP appear in Armis it feels like it would be more just to fill the gaps

Now that you mentioned it, I can’t recall a single one-on-one collab between an Armis member and a StarsJP member. Interactions seem to be limited to twitter or raids. Such a shame that Armis is hardly visible to JP audiences. I feel that their characters have the potential to be massively popular among Xenokuni fans too.

And he recently cited that as the reason for him pushing so hard on his Japanese reps, he was dismayed at his own poor performance and struggling so hard to communicate on such a simple game, he doesn’t want to set up or ask for a collab again until he can do a better job of expressing himself to his senpai in their native language.

I have no idea who among the JP boys would have natural interactions with Gibby and Ruze. They could lean to Pecxodia with Aruran and Oga (minus Shinri) but it is forced. Aruran and Rio are the ones most openly interacting with Armis but I can imagine Fuma showing up for Jurard based on their Twitter and stream raid interactions. They’re more lowkey than Fuma-Shinri but they have some rapport.
Tavi had Holo Expo karaoke with Izuru, Temma, Uyu and Hakka but between the 3 JP senpai, he may have gotten along with Izuru the most yet it’s also a stretch. Maybe I think so because Izuru praised Tavi for singing One Arm’s Reach from Laika during his birthday karaoke. Tavi didn’t have other notable interactions with Temma and Uyu, what more the rest of Stars JP?

Jurard is taking JP classes late last year since he wants to talk to his JP senpais and doesn’t want to rely more on translators. Too bad Gamma is gone. He was a co-host with Jurard and Roberu during last year’s Holo Expo and all three got along.
Tavi has been commenting on some of his senpai’s covers and is very enthusiastic about wanting to perform with them. I think during the Holostars 5th anniversary karaoke relay, Shien was impressed with Tavi’s setup.
Recently, I saw Aruran retweeting and laughing at Gibby’s clip of him fanboying. And I think a few weeks ago Ruze reacted to Astel’s tweet on something related to Pokemon(?).
I just hope the Japan arc will encourage Armis to meet the JP senpai.

Usually the individual 3D showcase is either just the talent by themself or with Cover talents only as guests (I genuinely can’t think of any outside guests anyone had for their 3D debut). For the full Armis collab they can probably invite whomever, like how HQ had ID and VG had VShojo (both along with StarsJP of course).
Considering their timeline (my guess is they’ll have their showcases prior to Fes/Expo to fee up studio time and space), right now I wouldn’t doubt one of them will ask Axel to appear since he’s already in Japan till mid/late March. For any of the other boys they would have to either settle for voiceover only or they’d have to fly in.

Axel is staying in Japan until March, I think. There’s Ollie too given that she was in Tempus HQ 3d collab showcase though that depends if she’s in Japan. Nana Asteria is one who I can think of and she mentioned in her post-Die with a Smile cover collab that she wants to perform with Tavi in 3D. Idk if she has a 3D model given her former corpo folded but that’s one of her goals.
