Posting this here since I don’t really normally watch Goldbullet but has he said anything about why he isn’t the expo panels for this year? I know he’s probably in Japan for 3D prep atm but was just curious

I haven’t seen him really touch on it in depth and no fan has directly messaged/supa’d him about it. At the time that it dropped, he kind of gave a nod-wink and said “we’re still cooking in the back, we’re not done yet, just wait and see”

Octavio is the only holostar I just have nothing to say about. Nothing negative nothing positive. He is just very forgettable.

I love him but he needs to play more short single stream games to bring people in multi stream series games are actively anti growth
And he clearly wants to grow, so unfortunately that means he needs to play more bread and butter game of the week type games to pull people in even if its just once or twice a week

Agreed. His Mortuary Assistant did really well. I’m hoping he brings back Autopsy Simulator someday and leans into the freaky character roleplay bit or turns it into an anatomy lesson stream.
He has so much potential for that but I understand he’s currently focusing on finishing Metaphor Refantazio & music making rn.

I feel like he’s reading too much about the whole YouTube/Twitch algorithm in order to grow in numbers. Dude, just make more engaging stream content. Even his chat were so dead during that stream.

i agree. i love his work ethic and just how much content he puts out but i can never sit through an entire stream of his. aside from the fact that i don’t have the same interests as him, i don’t feel like i absolutely need to hear octavio’s pov on anything.
imo he has the weakest personality out of the four but i think he could potentially fix that if he starts leaning into his character more.

Multistreaming is good in terms of visibility, but it seems to hurt his YT algorithm. He mentioned not being raided frequently. That’s a sign that his live streams do not appear in YT’s top search recommendations. He assumed that you both have to be subscribed to raid someone – this is untrue. Small indies can raid the Stars without being associated with them. I hope Octavio and Manesan can find a way to use more social media platforms without sacrificing his main one.
More about raids: does Octavio show up in chats of Stars who stream ahead of his regular time slots? That can help him get raided more often.

How ahead are we talking about? Excluding his genmates’ chats, Tavi showed up in both Hakka’s MC stream and Bettel’s unarchived karaoke‘s chats before he started his own Marvel Rivals stream. Bettel raided Tavi after his karaoke but Hakka was not done with his stream when Tavi ended so Tavi raided Hakka. I haven’t checked the JP senpais but I doubt he’d drop by and chat on non-karaoke streams due to language barrier.

Yes, im talking about the streams that are likely to end right after he started his. So, since he actually shows up their chats, his low view count and lack of raiders may be caused by other factors, like too many Stars streaming at the same time. In that case, he needs to come up with ways to entice other fans to raid him (most of the Stars ask their chat who they want to raid anyway). It’s can’t be just the usual ” welcome raiders, how was blank’s stream? Today, we are doing blah blah.”

Genuinely I think Octavio needs to start doing more duo collabs (gaming or otherwise), and with the rest of the branch outside of Armis in particular. I know how that sounds “oh just collab that’ll solve everything!”, but those types of collabs with non-genmates are always what helps sell a talent to a new set of fans.
I know the guy has a ton of other responsibilities too, so I don’t want to shit on him at all. And as someone said, his rigidity in his schedule means he can cook more than the rest of the guys…but it comes at the cost of kind of isolating himself.

You could count on having guests in his Octalks as a duo collab most especially with the duet song karaoke that he did with Bettel and Liz (Too bad he wasn’t able to do one with Shinri). But so far, he hasn’t interviewed Shiny Spicy yet. Ofc, Altare is still on a hiatus but Axel seems interested. Though we have to wait who his next guest is for this month.

I guess I mean more like gaming duo or weird random collabs. OctTalks is fun, but at the heart of it, it’s still a radio show and the duo part isn’t the main thing, it’s a guest spot.
When I think of duo collabs, I think of the many many We Were Here/It Takes Two playthroughs, Shiny Spicy Monster Hunter, Shinri and Bettel’s Monsterfucker Smash or Pass, the Bettel/Flayon accidental Lies of P week, etc.
I don’t know if I’m explaining myself well here so apologies if it sounds like I’m shitting on Octavio, I’m really not.

Octavio’s most entertaining gaming streams were the ones with Jurard (eg Spy Game, NBA), but they already moved on to doing their own stuff. But i agree with the other anon. Octavio can benefit from a regular collab partner (like Ollie to Jurard) to liven up his gaming streams.

I’m trying to think about it and it’s really rare (same with Jurard actually).
Usually if something big is going on he’ll show up in chat (like cover releases or birthday/anniversary stuff and the 3D showcases etc.), but on the fly….not really?

In Jurard’s case, he streams for longer hours so he gets raided 2-3x per stream.
