What do you mean by this? lol caspurr is doing fine for an indie for his subscriber to livestream viewer ratio is good and so is ProfessorLandos youtube channel. The only thing that is currently doing bad meanwhile everyone says it’s “the cash cow show” is the podcast. The views are reclining each episode and they can barely get to 10k subscribers with Connor’s fanbase and Landos.

tbf that’s every podcast and it’s not like they’re leaning into controversial bits or hot takes to ride the waves of virality so it’s bound to stagnate. I don’t mind though, I like listening to their ramblings vs content for shock value.

Long podcasts are a very hard sell in this current brainrot tiktok shorts environment. Even regular sized videos are suffering. Best in Jest exists mainly because both of them are podcast fans and they wanted to make their own. I don’t see any monetary incentive with it because both of them already have a chunky main channel.
