people say this about every graduation to PL pipeline and it never turns into anything, randon is just a big indie and mutuals with a lot of the community. he’s still heavily reclusive and doesn’t use socmed all that much. we only just got the second Takahata101 collab and its been nearly two years since he collabed with vesper.

VG started reviving their PL after the 6-month ban was lifted in July 2023, as most of HQ did after their 6 months. Not everything is because of those two.

Cover has a 6 month ban on their RM accounts and that’s been the same for all talents. Talents can go back to them after the ban is lifted and can use them however they want (to do stuff they can’t as Cover talents, as a personal account, etc.) sans L2D vtuber streaming.
By the logic you presented Calli has been ready to jump ship for the entire time she’s been in Holo.

Fauna and Chloe made it 3 years, Ame 4. Vesper didn’t even make it half a year before he started shit and killed the vibe of HQ. He didn’t even make it a year despite being given a full redesign. Randon was just never cut out for the corpo life and was never a good fit for the company. It’s on him for thinking he was despite admitting he wasn’t.

I applaud him for stating the obvious outright. But a part of his video that really stuck with me was the fact that whatever you make while in corpo can never truly be yours. For stuff like numbers and spreadsheets in some 9-5 business I couldn’t care less, but in a creative medium where you put your whole soul and being into music, art, learning, variety streams, etc, the thought of all of that never truly belonging to me really would break me mentally. When Gamma and Mel got canned, all of their hard work not only ceased to be theirs, but also disappeared off the face of the planet (aside from archivers doing the lord’s work, ofc). It’s a heavy gamble and I don’t think I could ever be okay with that personally. But like he said, some people are ig. Criticizing idol EN is one thing but they did right by their talents by letting them keep their IPs should they choose to leave during the merge.

That’s what happened to melissa, she graduated to become a professional singer because she couldnt get the rights to her own music despite fighting hard for it. This makes me wonder if you can include your vtuber work(music, art, voice acting, etc) in your resume or not.

Maybe because I watch Kiara and she is very vocal about it, but i don’t know why some bootlickers over reddit were so up in arms about defending some salarymen when these managers are not hollywood hotshot sharks but regular 9-5vers and it shows sooo much they just see this as a regular powerpoint ass job.I hope that once they open the branch in California, they begin to hire management that cares about the growth of the talent, rather than treating them like some spreadsheets wtf

They’re under a huge amount of copium, being in denial about the internal issues that the company is facing. We already heard some EN members complaining about too much homework, delayed perms, delayed songs/covers etc. The fact Fauna said her reason for graduating was disagreement with management broke the illusion of the diehard fans’ perception of the company. I guess those redditors who are defending never experienced being in the workplace and seeing their arguments made me wonder who exactly they care about the most: the talents or the higher-ups. There’s a reason many idol fans keep saying “support the talent, not the company” because they care about the well-being of their oshis.

i feel like people tend to go to extremes when it comes to corpos–either they’re BLACK COMPANY or they’re THE BEST EVER and there’s pretty much no acknowledgement that a large majority of them are going to fall into a gray area where yes they do provide advantages you might not get as indies but they are still companies whose main focus is maintaining the bottom line
