I’m not gonna lie this year has truly made me cherish my oshis, even if they have the life expectancy of a hamster or beta fish and will probably make me just as sad when they “die” and graduate or worse lmao. I feel like I gotta support them more than ever because I don’t wanna live with regret or make them feel like they’re not loved. Just ranting here.
It’s confirmed that all the talents can read whatever anyone post, good and the bad, on Twitter X. It’s because of the ‘For You’ algo. Even if they don’t read here or 4chan, it will get shoved in their face over there.
Guys, genuine question. I’m not that familiar with how Cover handle things so i just wanna ask. When i saw the girls merch/sponsorship etc they most of the time mix both jp talents and en talents together. But for holostars, most merch and sponsorship are seperated plus they focus more on jp talents. Can i know why?
Thing is, I want to buy Stars merch at my local store but the one available are only jp talent. Like example animate merch, why no en talent included when animate have stores all around the world? I don’t understand. Love all holostars but they should include en too imo because right now the easiest and most affordable (cuz no shipping ) merch i’ve got was the altare and hakka holomeet merch.
It has been implied by the girls that being in JP gives you more benefits. One of the reasons FuwaMocco, Bae, and Mori moved to JP was not only the dream and the studio but actually be given more opportunities.
Kiara for example has acknowledged she would be given more opportunities if she lived in Japan, but her family and life is in Germany (and the stalker situation doesn’t Help!) so she is not willing to move across the world even if that diminishes her opportunities.
I hope that once there’s a bit of a change when we get the USA HQ . Since a lot of en talents are getting to that stagnation point. I believe that would encourage the talents to stay longer than just a couple of years, which is not only my selfish desire, but a concern for the Investors as well, per the last report.
This is so strange to me… Like why would the talents have to be in japan to get merch made of them? Maybe if they used their real faces, but for vtubers? I don’t understand.
They don’t have to do that to get merch made. But it’s a lot easier to provide input or for management to reach out if you’re right there in Japan. More opportunities will naturally coincide with being more convenient for the company to work with.
When you can just roll up to the studio with an hour’s notice, they’re a lot more likely to tag you in for random things.
I guess I’m gonna be the unpopular voice of reason, but let’s take it down a notch and wind down the gossip around named community members, especially in spaces only tangentially linked to the boys. Lando and Connor calling out the trolls and gossip girls wasn’t the green light for y’all to pivot the discussion to individuals in the community. And if people don’t chill out, I hope admin steps in to reign in these types of discussions because I don’t want this site to become a hub for targeted harassment.
For the most part, yeah, we shouldn’t be bringing up individuals that aren’t the talents themselves, but sometimes if someone/some people are making a ruckus a little public shaming is deserved ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yup we are getting to that slippery slope in which within the last few weeks names of not only BNFs have been dropped, but actual @s of partners of the guys, so I might actually have to blacklist those names and make a rule of not bringing names directly.
While I’m all for freedom of expression we’re getting close to a danger zone.
Yeah, I posted something slightly mean about a bnf on another site a long time ago and shortly thereafter they attempted suicide. Don’t make the same mistake as me.
