Anyone here a fan of regloss or watched their 3dlive? I wasn’t really into the hololive side until they debuted, their sincere personalities, senses of humor, and unique/more fashionable model designs really appealed to me. I heard regloss was meant to appeal more to a female audience and I definitely feel it, but can’t explain why (not solely because of ao-kun either, lol). The 3dlive was so chaotic and fun, I wish I was fluent in JP so I could understand them better.. (especially for raden ;_;) anyway stream feelingradation

I talked about Raden earlier but Ao-kun is also amazing!! she’s such an endearing girl failure comedian behind her ikemen persona…and her dynamic with starsjp mems like oga and aruran is sooo funny and refreshing, but not just stars, her chemistry and friendship with her own gen is so sweet. The way Ao stopped Raden from quitting hololive really touched me, I’m really glad they’re so supportive of each other, especially since they were labeled the “unconventional” and “unhololive-like” members. I love how they’re unashamed of being themselves and proved their doubters wrong together :,) also their duet cover of Cendrillon was an iconic moment in lgbt history lmao
I’ve never wished I could understand a vtuber in their native language more than Raden. Even putting her being an entertainer aside, she just seems like a genuinely fascinating person with a lot to share in terms of perspective despite her young age.
I get what you mean with “meant more to appeal to a female audience” though, they all seem like girls I’d actually be friends with IRL. I can easily see any of them being a normie’s gateway vtuber.
Ahhh same!! Her unique way of speaking and the way she influenced the rakugo scene in Japan and her oshi becoming her fan was so cool, but it’s all a very uniquely a part of Japanese culture that us foreign fans just can’t really understand on the level of a local. I’m jealous, but happy for the JP fans who can enjoy her streams fully.
I love how shes using her unique interests like art history and rakugo to draw in a completely new audience. She’s somehow hilarious, classy, unhinged, super cute and sophisticated at the same time and I love it! The doraemon museum song she sang in the 3D live was a perfect fit for her. Her model design and outfit is so unique for a vtuber, I love the long length gothic lolita style dress and shoujo style detailed art for her face. I really like how the regloss girls vtuber designs have stylish fits that real women would wear vs the more generic anime inspired outfit trends that appeal more to otaku men (no hate to those, its just SO refreshing to see something new)
i’m so sick and tired of clipping channels stealing art for their thumbnail, they didn’t even credit them properly but that doesn’t matter cuz they don’t have the artist permission in the first place! they even dare to say that they already got permission but when i asked the artist personally they didn’t even know about the video and of course they didn’t give permission for their art to be used. THE AUDACITY i’m so pissed. what do i do with this, i already contacted the artist (they are jp) and they wanted to contact the clipper via twitter but i can’t find the clipper twitter anywhere in their channel. i already told the artist to try and comment on the video since THE PREVIOUS ARTIST WHO’S ART WERE USED BEFORE THIS ONE ALSO DIDN’T GAVE PERMISSION and commented on the video too (fortunately they change the art after the first artist commented but unfortunately to another unauthorized art). why is it so hard to ask for permission??? just because the art is posted on twitter doesn’t mean it’s free to use smh

Like yes, Gamma, Mel, and Rushia not being there makes sense, they were terminated. Aqua’s model was no doubt commissioned well before her graduation announcement, so there’s no point in not including it. But unless I missed something, I didn’t see any models for Coco, Sana and A-chan, people who you’d think would be included.
I’m not assuming any maliciousness on Ame or any of the modelers parts, please believe me. It’s just something that’s started bothering me over time and I would just like consistency I guess: either all the graduated talents get included or none of them get included.

You missed A-chan’s model and if Magnoir and A-chan got models, you can bet your ass Sana and Coco got something too that just might not have been caught on stream considering how beloved those latter two are in the HoloEN fanbase. Wait to be critical until after they release the VRchat world to the public.
I doubt it was malicious, as there were multiple modelers that had different tasks and it seems like the Stars ones were all done by one person, while everyone else was a mix of different people so probably a lot more complicated. Personally, I like the idea of the inclusion of all graduates (obviously terminations wouldn’t fly) for this kind of thing. Normally, including graduates in any group gen thing comes off as obnoxious to me because it takes away from the people who are still there’s celebrations, but this kind of situation is the perfect time for it, imo.
Agreed, it fits the situation I would just close an eye on it and Ame didn’t say much regarding it so I would just brush it off as a nothingburger and appreciate everyone’s effort on this amazing project.
