Cream together using mixer in bowl,adding in the egg last:
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Egg
Stir in:
1 1/2 c flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
(Note: I’m pretty sure you could add in 1/2 tsp baking powder instead and get the same effect)
Mix well.
Form shapes out of dough.
In seperate bowl mix:
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Roll shapes in cinnamon sugar.
Place shapes on baking sheet and bake for 10-13 minutes.
