i always remind myself how much of my life i lived before i knew of this interest, how much life i’ll live after, and how ephemeral media interests are in life. is something foundational? or is it part of a 3-5 year cycle? some anime last decades but your average seasonal show has its shelf life. vtubing has only been around in the mainstream since 2020, what did you do before that? are there video games you’ve left behind? music and bands you no longer get hyped for the new release of? fan stuff that you declutter from your room because you’re no longer that attached? it’s a natural part of the cycle to fall off and retire parts of media consumption. streaming makes it more difficult because the connection is to another human being and reasonably enough you would worry about them missing you or feeling left behind. but they are not actually your close personal friend (in most cases) and we do move on and leave behind friend groups in any case, so if all that’s keeping you in the chat is a parasocial connection to doing right by THEM and not yourself, try and assess that rationally.
My advice, take a break and find new ways of entertainment. Who knows, maybe you’ll return or maybe not. This is coming from a person who still copes of the 8 member Tempus guild even after the 2 left, but I still watch both sides of the corpo and indie boys.
IMO just do what’s best for you. You shouldn’t force yourself to consume content if it doesn’t make you happy in any way. Your oshi (or past oshi) would want you to put yourself first.

I tried to use the app today but only Sora is available but no posing or camera function. I’m guessing no one has found a work-around to it? Or another way to use the app?
