Has the admin abandoned this site? It feels like half the posts on this page are from trolls, racists/homophobes, and people trying to instigate arguments, which is decidedly not what the stated goals of the site are on the homepage…

Not sure how many times it needs to be said that posts are deleted not by management but when they reach a certain threshold of reports. In my opinion nonnas here are not properly utilizing the report button and too frequently engaging with bait.
I’m not a newcomer, I’ve been using this site since it was first created when nyfco was getting knocked offline and our page was literally getting filled with shit. I just miss the early days of both the nyfco page and this site when people weren’t throwing slurs around like you are or just constantly finding someone to shit on. This wasn’t the norm on the nyfco Tempus page, this was just brought in with trolls and tourists whenever drama stirred up… But I guess most of the nice, decent people have long since left after the constant barrage of negativity.
buddy you are looking at that page with rose tinted nostalgia glasses because that was absolutely the norm. terms like numberfagging were a mainstay and not just from trolls. like yeah it was nowhere near as bad as the niji page but it was still brutally honest, raw, and edgy and a good chunk of that energy was coming from it’s core userbase. it calmed down SIGNIFICANTLY once we transitioned to this site, to the point that there were regular complaints about it turning into a hugbox. i have no idea what you’re on about
I was on the nyfco Tempus page a couple months after debut and no, it did not get this shitty until Vesper’s incident. People were absolutely more civil and that was the fucking appeal of the Tempus page, that Tempuras were so goddamn wholesome even anonymously. The fact that you’re trying to say it wasn’t shows that you only came in during the shit storms of drama. I remember having reply threads with other anons discussing why the boys appealed so heavily to LGBT folks and I remember people reassuring each other when they were feeling like outsiders in the fandom.
