after the watchalong discussion lately I’m curious, what kind of menshi content do you guys prefer? I know the art/creative stuff is popular but for livers like bettel and jurard that isn’t really their forte and I thought y’all liked the watchalongs. is it stuff like viewer lobbies (like fall guys or amogus) or what

Honestly zatsus and zatsu heavy games, but with the talent speaking more freely since its just members. That might just be because I follow my kamioshi for zatsu content though and im happy just to spend more time with them.
it’s not that they’re from niji, it’s that they’re not doing the bare minimum to show respect for the talents by calling them talents (which is what they are, not “livers”).
the problem is they don’t make the effort to learn about a different fandom’s own qualities and this ends up flattening other vtuber groups’ cultures into being niji’isms

It’s fine. That person isn’t saying anything incorrect about Niji IMO but we do conversely have our own issue with clannish behavior in some spaces. It stems from a lot of mistreatment from both the company and the 4chan variety of Holo fans, but the paranoia often gets misdirected.
only ever paid for one membership, so i’m not THAT up to date on what most do but: i really love ruze’s bookclub, i haven’t seen something similar to his bookclub personally but i’m sure something like film reviews or video game reviews could be right up my alley too or even video essays, i’m aware that this might not be something vtubers like to do though. i guess i just love listening to people yap about things they like/don’t like.

Yup. He even announced what the next book for book club will be in his latest Monthly Ruzolve: Cunning Folk by Tabitha Stanmore. As for who said they weren’t allowed to do a book club, I heard it was Magni (nonnies, correct me if I’m wrong). I guess management became more lax closer to ARMIS debut.
Ruze has been doing book club for a year now, if Altare wanted to do one he would have done it. That was probably a passing comment in the past and not something he wanted to actually do.
It was a nostalgic comment about how they were hamstrung in the HQ era and absolutely refused perms to do any critical analysis like book clubs, movie reviews, lore streams, etc. and how management has loosened up overtime and VG had a slightly easier road and then ARMIS pretty much had everything they could want from debut and were locked and loaded to go
My personal favorite menshi content is behind-the-scenes zatsu. I love hearing more about how the boys plan content out and often feel more comfortable sharing their perspective on certain subjects when they’re only talking with people paying to be there. But I’m also very much somebody who often treats streams as second monitor content to keep my brain stimulated while I’m doing something more tedious on the main monitor.

tldr:He did acknowledge the problems last year which was the company growing too fast leading to an internal organizational mess and many issues that the talents experienced. So they’re currently working on a system to ease that which would take time. And they’re still hiring people.
I did saw the recruitment post on X, also i think they already have enough recruitment for 3D teams, cause after 2 day of that post. the 3D teams recruitment was gone and left only the marketing etc
Does DevIs have the same management as the rest of HoloJP or do they have their own management the way the rest of the branches all have their own management?
