Whatever OP was talking about aside, I do have a question: if a “shota” talent were to debut but had a female roommate (who identifies as a woman as well), would they be a part of stars or would they be with the girls? And if it’s the latter do you think they’d be in a special unit/gen? Genuinely asking bc I’ve been curious about this for days
I think they’d either be incredibly secluded and treated as a pseudo hololive girl or just be treated as a hololive girl in general. I don’t see them debuting a shota ever if there’s a new stars gen for that reason, it’s kinda of a logistical nightmare unless you’re debuting someone who can VA as a pretty young boy and that’s usually women so that’s out of the way or a man who’s voice is still high but tbh they would probably still sound too old. Flayon is probably the closest to a shota model we will ever get for stars and even then he’s not even a real shota.
I don’t think Holo would hire somebody whose birth sex doesn’t match their character sex to begin with.
Nijisanji may get dunked on for various valid reasons but they’ve always been the corpo to go to if you want to be more flexible on that front/actually present as a GNC identifying character.
