make a bunch of baity comments, spam them all over the place, then downvote and report their own posts. after that, just act slighted and accuse adminchama of favoritism/encouraging a hugbox environment
idk, i see lots of fairly innocuous posts going away. i do wonder if one of the old self-appointed “nyfco janitors” has set up shop with their smart fridges to keep this site to their standards of cleanliness
There’s literally only one admin guys. They made this site and only occasionally monitor it and mostly on the weekends. The report system filter might just be low and you guys can request for it to be upped. Keep in mind this site has been cross posted probably to not only peoples private disorder servers but 4chan multiple times if you check warsou which might explain the mass reporting. That’s all.
pretty sure it works the same as nyfco where posts and their replies get deleted after x amount of reports and it only takes a single person with a vpn to one guy everyone
i dont think the reporting is coming from 4chan……. it only leaves the good comments and deletes almost everything complaining about thr admin, the “bad” comments whose context would be unclear to those outside the fandom get deleted as well. if it was from 4chan basically everything would be wiped by now
try commenting most of your text input in the form of an image, make sure the heading contains absolutely nothing flaggable, save it for the body in the image. if the comment still gets deleted then its the admins doing PLUS they said theyd look for mods like 2 months ago they probably have a few by now
prior to the comments getting nuked i saw the admin say they still hadn’t gotten any mods so unless it’s changed since then i doubt it’s either the admins or hypothetical mods doing anything. in which case there probably really does need to be some mods lol
i appreciate the still small community we have now which is more manageable and tight-knit despite anonymity. .. but i just miss the traffic and constant flow of opinions on the old site always something to read and lots to backread on as a newbie trying to catch up on drama, LOTS of file and vod backup sharing too
after grads it went to shit and had so much drama baiting it was impossible to find good threads to read and I switched to /mans/ but seems like the worst went there to shit up the threads every so often
the comments keep disappearing although they show up on the feed, seems like it’s how report system works, like the post and the threadded replies aren’t deleted but are hidden, but it’s annoying when trying to find the context of what’s on the feed or the ongoing conversation

Is there a way to not completely make the thread disappear just because the OP is reported, but show an indicator that this post is flagged/reported, hide the contents of the said post behind it and leave the related comments intact instead?
holomini series releasing HOLOSTARS twice? I even look using search bar and only gen1 hololive holomini available… like usually hololive jp and hololive en will take over the merch slot first but wow… its HOLOSTARS first. I’m happy its HOLOSTARS boys out first but also bit worried of the 1% bad feedback from “that” fans…

I haven’t checked but yes report threshold is low since the GB incident. That can change but trolling the report feature won’t help.
The only banned words are slurs.
I don’t have mods yet.
I don’t have time or access to check anything until the weekend.
Sensitive topics can get reported more easily since controversial topics are more likely to get people upset.
