For context, Shinri is reacting to the trailer of this upcoming anime where an oyaji salaryman got hit by a truck and reincarnated as a villainess in an otome game.
No he finished school the last week of November. But it started at the worst possible time: he was heading to Japan the weekend it started, visited with his family, set up where he’s staying for the next 3 months, got and reconfigured his streaming setup from management, had to deep clean his place since the last occupant smoked an e-cig and stunk the place up, and he got sick from the drastic weather change.
On top of all that the kaigai group wasn’t able to formally become a gang due to there not being enough police officers to balance out with the other gangs that had formed (which is hilariously ironic since Axel and rpr initially signed up to be cops and were denied).
By the time he had settled in, Hakka and Flayon were arriving in Japan, so he understandably decided to just call it a wash since he had basically missed the entire event.
Yeah, it’s sucks that he basically missed the whole thing. They really need to stop having a season in December, everyone is just to busy to commit to it.

I wonder if we’ll ever see a group accessory for the Tempus boys or StarsEN as a whole. (Like how Promise has their animal half-capes and crown/earrings, HoloX has their villain helmets, or something like the ENReco cape for all the boys.)
It’d be interesting but I don’t know if that’s a talent or management decision. (Besides the ENReco ones obviously.)
It is a talent decision and if they wanted a group thing, they would have to coordinate it. Basically, along with yearly outfits, people accumulate points from stuff like anniversaries and birthdays that they can redeem for outfit changes and accessories.
I guess the mascot holding add-on toggles sort of counts as that? At least for VG, if we count Bettel choking out Phantom. I can’t remember if Altare has an official slime hugging toggle or if he got any upgrades at all since he scrapped his second outfit.
I’m honestly not sure if the VG mascot toggles count, but maybe? I guess it depends on if HQ and VG have separate budgets or Tempus has one budget. Cause if it’s the latter then I don’t know why they wouldn’t just have Altare and Axel get the same as well. (The Cultare ones Altare has are fan assets.)
That’s also a good point though: since Altare scrapped his second outfit, I’m surprised he didn’t get any accessories or new toggles made for his base outfit. Did he blow through his whole outfit/accessories budget for the year?
Altare did in fact get some additional toggles for the base. The starry eyes expression, for example, was not baseline. I don’t think the red eye shift he uses for Regis jokes is the same as what he originally used, either. Fits more seamlessly on his model.
I might be misremembering the timing, but I think he started using them late last year/early this year. So not far off the timing off Axel’s second outfit reveal. The turnaround time on toggles would, I assume, have been shorter.

I don’t know how much back-and-forth Altare did with his second outfit before it was scrapped, but major revisions might have eaten into his budget quite a bit. Everyone else sounded like their mamas nailed the designs on the first try.
That’s true, if he wanted a full revision or redo on the outfit, that might have counted as a completely new commission and ate into anything remaining that would have covered new accessories/toggles.
