I’m hoping he resets and tries to do some simple projects or covers to get his motivation back. I know he likes his grand ideas and big VR projects, but maybe just working on a few covers and other little things will help boost him up.
Betsy-chan slaps me across the face so hard I fall to the ground. She demands I get her a cookies-and-cream milkshake. Dutifully, I rush to the B&B and bring one back to her. She takes a single sip before throwing it in my face—she wanted one from Dairy Queen. How could I be so foolish? I should have known better.
Panicked, I sprint to Dairy Queen, only to have the cashier inform me they don’t make cookies-and-cream milkshakes—just Oreo Blizzards. Fear grips my heart. I beg, I cry, I plead for a cookies-and-cream milkshake, but the cashier insists it’s impossible. The people in line behind me start muttering angrily. Defeated and humiliated, I purchase the Oreo Blizzard and trudge back, drenched in cold sweat.
Trembling, I present the sweet, frozen offering to Betsy-chan. She barely glances at it before turning away in disgust. “I don’t want it anymore,” she says dismissively.
My life is a blessing. I thank God every day for Betsy-chan.
