i dont get it chat, i thought the covernment said no to celebrating hq and vg anniversary separately but from the schedule vg is basically doing a back to back version of tempus week so… they are allowed to now? after altare and axel asked and got rejected?
That’s them organizing and celebrating their anniversary by themselves, like they did last year. There won’t be any merch, orisong for their gen, or anything else official.
I understand he’s a weeb and doesn’t know much about Marvel or American comics but the fact he named the superheroes Tony Parker (Spiderman), Uncle Ben (Iron Man), Tony Parker’s wife (Black Widow), Eagle Man (Hawkeye) and Pigeon Man (Moon Knight) really made me laugh, lol.

I’m old enough to have been in circles that knew the distinction between “weeb” and “otaku” back in the day, though I guess my social circles leaned more Asian-American which might be where the differentiating factor lies. “weeb” has (or at least had) way more racial connotations to it than “otaku” since it was literally a stand-in for calling a white person a “wannabe Japanese” and it would be insane to call an Asian person, especially one of Japanese decent, a weeb. I guess this connotation really only stuck specifically with genX and older millennial Asian-Americans since nobody outside that demographic really cared about the racism we had to put up with from that era.
Part of me is like “Oooh, a JP version of one of their songs would be fucking cool”. The other part of me that wants songs in EN and written by people who speak EN wins out though.
I’d love Tempus boys got official cover for Holostars JP translated songs like “Find It” or “Just Follow Stars” first. Having song we can hear on mp3/topic would be nice, that’s how much I want to hear their voice

As far as I know nothing specific for VG anniversary. Axel did mention last year that, apparently, him and Altare asked to do separate anniversary stuff (we all assume HQ/VG) but were told no. Most reasonable thing I’ve seen is a separate anni for each gen and then doing a Tempus Week celebration in September.
It’s kinda sad that they said no. If shinyspicy are okay just doing HQ stuff then they should be allowed without being lumped in with VG and VG should get their own time to do anniversary things as well. Not shocking that VG doesn’t wanna do anything for anni or even plan out a collab or something if it’s gonna be like that. Really demoralizing imo.

And it’s clear that most Tempura will treat that anniversary as Altare and Axel’s, not all of Tempus. So while they get more attention by having more members, the eyes are on the 2 older members, not them.
I’ve said this elsewhere or even here, but Cover figured it out (mostly) with Promise: IRyS and Council celebrate their personal debut anniversaries separately and then have a Promise focused unit anniversary. Very easily can be applied to Tempus starting this year: HQ in July, Tempus Week in August or September, and then VG in 2026.
I really hope Axel can go back to streaming regularly soon. The last few months have been all over the place with him locking in for his last semester and getting sick multiple times. I’m truly proud all his work let him graduate university finally, but man I miss him and the reliability that he’d stream at his normal times you know?
He’s in the Marvel Rivals collab. I thought he’s not going to be interested in it given he’s not much into Marvel. But I’m surprised he’s in there. He really likes to be with his homies.
