im so happy about vg 2yr anniv, but holy fuck people can not leave magves out of the other boys accomplishments. im here to celebrate the boys who have made it this far. its honestly disrespectful seeing the two in milestone fanarts.
i loved them when they were here, but some of you need to let the boys have their spotlight without putting magves in the background as a subtle ode to the dead.
honestly i’ve hardly seen magves stuff in tempus VG fanart for their anni this year round compared to last year. if it’s someone including them theyre usually magclown shippers and I just ignore the fanart from them tbh. I think we are slowly seeing them be included less as newer fans come in as well.
I’m desperately hoping they won’t be in the HQ fanart for this upcoming anniversary. Altare and Axel will have been in Stars for 3 fucking years, things have moved forward. Let them finally celebrate an anniversary without the ghost of those two hovering over them.
Also I really don’t want to celebrate people who fucked over their gen mates while they had to rebuild shit from almost square one, sorry not sorry.

Flayon usually uses the money he gets on stuff for fans i.e Machiroon Appreciation Day– in general all of VG is not shy to use money on fans, but it is not a guarantee. Bettel could not release merch, since he just spent on the Dakimakura not long ago. Shinri is saving for moving to Japan. I can see Hakka releasing merch as well… but we’ll have to see.
Yeah anniversary merch isn’t always a guarantee. As an example, off the top of my head for Advent, Shiori and Bijou didn’t have any merch but Nerissa and Fuwamoco did, and I’m pretty sure one girl from Myth didn’t do merch the year prior.
But yeah, in addition to VG, Altare always seems the next most likely to put money down for custom merch (I’m pretty sure he confirmed that he had a separate merch drop for some point in the future). He’s pretty willing to spend money on bigger things, so it makes sense he’d do that.
Axel is the real wildcard: he’s thought up merch that he’d want himself and knowing what some of it is, it’d be really great…but he’s always been worried about fans spending more money on him (man has consistently had the lowest priced birthday merch in all of EN, girls and guys included), so who knows if he’ll ever do a separate merch drop.
