like nonnie below, I prefer to have StarsEN fans to have their own identity too because the Name Starmins already stuck too much for JP fans. I don’t watch enough JP talents to call myself Starmin but I do like when Temma do English stream or Aruran doing DJARN stream.

It’s not about division, and I understand those that do watch Stars JP keeping the name, but some of us can’t catch them. I do know that this is also eagerness on the part of JPStarmin of wanting their oshis to get more foreign support, and I do believe that if you watch all the boys from all branches, you can call yourself Starmin, but we StarsEN fans absolutely need our own identity.
(Honestly, what I actually want to nitpick about the OG Tweet is calling people Bros not everyone feels comfortable with that type of 4chan lingo lmao)

I think given the previous incidents in the past few days, if you (gen) are gonna have a hot take and are not ready for the heat, post it in a priv, because it does show it to every person related including the talents (they have mentioned it before) even if they don’t follow you.

They’re not hating on Shinri, just stating that they believe Starmin can be used for both the JP and EN fans. They’re only mentioning him by name because he brought it up on his own recently. I personally agree with him though: I’d prefer having a name that refers specifically to StarsEN fans.
It may have been lost in translation, but no one is insulting him.

I might be the minority here but I don’t think we need a Stars EN identity, at least not yet. The EN branch needs to cook and develop some more before we assign a collective name to everyone. We have Tempura for Tempus, Armada for Armis (allegedly new gens are coming soon before they slow down hiring talents).
Also I understand the JP side since language barrier is a struggle for them, but many learn english to check out the EN boys and support them, I’m sure some fans learn JP to chat with the senpais etc. I’ve seen people on twitter reach out more to make international friends. I actually like being a Starmin (and I don’t think you have to watch JP senpais to be a Starmin once you’re a stars fan).
From their perspective, don’t want to talk for them but, it might seem hurtful if it seems like the EN side wants to be ‘separate and do it’s own thing’ without acknowledging JP at all vs coming together as a group and being a full Holostars fan vs StarsEN fan only, which we’re small enough to do right now. There’s only 10 boys right now, imagine like 20 EN boys to juggle through and all their audiences @_@
But I don’t think Shinri’s wrong for wanting to make that distinction, I think later on when the Elysium world is expanded on and new gens are settled in as seniors they can think of assigning a collective name to every EN stars fans that matches the personality of everyone imo.
i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again bettel’s voice matches other people’s voice so fucking well. he sounds so good with hakka and the inkya impulse mash up with maria he sounded so good. now this mash up with liz his voice just matched so perfectly
