Have any of the boys mentioned why it’s been so hard to schedule for collabs lately? I feel like ever since japan arc ended it’s been worse than pulling teeth to get anyone to join/schedule a collab and i’ve heard this from multiple different tempus boys at this point.
1st yeah in any holo’s career is gonna be pretty lax. It’s usually year 2 and beyond where stuff like collabs etc. get harder to organize because of so much behind the scenes stuff going on like merch, sponsorships etc.
as a myth fan this is pretty par for the course so it’s surprising to see people acting like this problem is unique to tempus lol. obviously myth have a TON more going on than tempus does but the work they all do behind the scenes, time zone differences, and personal life stuff (plus a lot of them are active on their other accounts) adds up.
I think anyone doomposting about tempus not collabing must be young, like teenage or college age, because pretty much everyone in their 20s-30s knows that “we need to get together and catch up!!!” and then never doing it is SO common in friend groups as you get older. Jobs, hobbies, families, diverging interests, distance and timezones all catch up and before you know it you haven’t seen your previously tight-knit friend group in 6 months.
i’m going to offer a different explanation here: one thing that defines both branches of starsEN is that there’s a variety of tastes and preferences within both tempus and armis. that naturally makes it difficult for large group collabs to happen, because the games that some members like and are comfortable playing on stream are different from the games other members like and are comfortable playing on stream.
shinyspicy do fps collabs (sometimes with each other, sometimes with others), but most of tempus and armis don’t (want to) play fps. another anon mentioned a shinri starcraft collab below, but who else in tempus and armis plays starcraft OR is willing to take the time to learn it? i’m not a starcraft player either, but i’m pretty sure it’s a game with a learning curve. of course, there are always party games, but i’m pretty sure some starsEN members aren’t too enthusiastic about those either (has axel ever played one outside of a starsEN collab?), and we can go down this checklist with every genre of game.
the fact that starsEN members have different tastes has its pros and cons, and this is one of the cons.
also, it could be that right now, starsEN members want to concentrate on fostering their individual communities. sometimes during collabs, talents will mention that they can’t concentrate on chat/superchats/etc very much because they want to concentrate on the collab. and i’m not sure that this is a good or bad thing, just a choice that the boys are making.
personally, as a viewer, i’ve always seen collabs as a sacrifice that talents make for the community. bottom line: collabs are destined to be less lucrative for some members than others, and talents have to make their friendships entertainment while not being able to pay as much attention to their individual chats. that might be something that some people are not willing to deal with, so they become unwilling to organize.
i don’t know if any single opinion here or by other anons is correct or incorrect, because end of the day, we can only assume what the situation is and we will never know their individual thoughts on the matter. but i thought i would offer a different perspective on the matter that isn’t “they don’t care enough to”. i think they care about lots of things and have to balance accordingly: they can’t do it all.
I agree with you, I think the slight upset/clash with the fans is that tempus debuted with an emphasis on collabs and the genuine bond of the guys, to the point that even yagoo said brotherhood was a theme of the branch. It’s a hard pill to swallow that this factor changed over time (due to multiple different reasons), especially for the large number of fans that got into starsen mostly because of the collabs. I will admit that this idea was short lived even during the HQ days, but it’s undeniable that Tempus’s most popular content and viral moments were almost always collabs
I think the brotherhood aspect was always kinda dead on arrival when VG debuted. No shade to anyone there but you can clearly tell who talks to who more there compared to HQ which seemed like one unit. I get that collabs are wanted but I think fans need to move on a little bit and accept that we’ll probably only get collabs with certain boys who surround themselves with certain games.
This is happening to the older gens btw. The only time you’ll see a gen collab together is during their anniversary. I agree that fans would have to accept that a full Tempus collab or a full Stars EN collab is going to be rare at this point. Maybe if there’s going to be Stars EN concert in the future or if there’s going a full-on Holostars concert, we’ll see them all together. But yeah, very frustrating to be a fan of this branch.
just gonna be brutal, none of them try hard enough. talents like altare, bettel, hakka and shinri will complain constantly about how its so hard to schedule a collab, but then never ask any of the boys to meet them. they’ll log on on a tuesday, look at the schedules, and say “damn the boys are all busy this week i can’t ask” and then they don’t plan for the week after, and the same pattern keeps repeating. we all know overlap peak hours results in Bettel, Altare, Flayon, Hakka, and then Shinri overlapping on the daily, with Ruze either earlier than Bettel or the same time as Shinri, and sometimes Octavio at the same time as Shinri, and sometimes Axel merely an hour or two after Shinri. if they really wanted to they could all just hop in vc together and chat while having eight different POVs of their solo streams and it would be as good as anything. Ruze was a genius for starting a guerrilla Armis collab the one time they were all online late at night JST/early in the morning NA. Armis honestly makes the most efforts to have their weekly collabs and have only been driven apart by things like a member being in the hospital, caring for family, being without ISP, or other real life stuff that forces them offline. The Tempus boys who stream every day just fine with nothing going on in their life have no excuses not to organize at least a monthly collab.
Gonna say that some of the boys have said that they DO ask a week or two ahead even and then nobody responds or says, “ah sorry too busy.” Both shinri and hakka have had this issue. I don’t know if it’s game choice or just the fact that everyone is suddenly shit at communicating now or what, it’s a night and day difference from about february-march with collabs VS now. If it’s just a couple people who keep holding back tempus collabs then just do it without them at this point.
altare and octavio have said it’s only the two of them using the stars en group calendar set up for the branch, the others can’t be bothered to use it for whatever reasons. probably tedious af to organize something
I need shinri inside me. I need him in every position. I need his mouth on mine. I need him to fuck me until theres nothing else coming out of him. I need him to use me and tell me how good I’m being for him. I need him to tease and fuck me senseless, because I wont ask him to stop. I need him to pour all he has inside of me until its messy and dripping. And I need him to do it until im passing out.

All they need to do is call the armis boys. Tempus only collab is forbidden, we all hate tribalism.

Thats usually how it is with the newest gens. They try harder than the older ones as the older ones get more jaded and close to their expiration date.
