Apparently, Rio is the last guest. I think it makes sense because last year, Altare and Roberu were guests because they happened to be last year’s Holomeet ambassadors. Rio and Hakka were this year’s Holomeet ambassadors.
I think what they mean is how frequent it is that Stars appear in cons over there. This is already Axel and Hakka’s 2nd time. All of Tempus aside from Shinri had appeared before, alongside Roberu. But unlike ID and PH they didn’t get to do meet&greet.
If you want Holostars to appear in your local con just keep asking the organizer to bring them.
So question for the Cultare (honest one not a joke): does Altare do any kind of smaller projects or even ones strictly meant for his community? Or membership perk stuff like wallpapers/etc.?
It always seems like anything he’s working on is just this big project or long undertaking and any hit to that makes his mood plummet and sets him back. It seems like he doesn’t give himself smaller projects to work on that could get finished quicker and easier and give him a dopamine rush/confidence boost.
Also I ask about the community stuff because from an outsiders perspective, it looks like Altare doesn’t really do stuff with/for his community. And I mean in the sense like Hakka’s art commissions, Ruze’s HoloMarches stuff, Bettel constantly playing Fall Guys with Bettelion, etc. I tried thinking about it and the only thing that came to mind is his VR chat world being open to fans and that’s really it.

He hasn’t been doing it as much as he used to recently, I guess because he’s been preoccupied mentally with setting up the studio and because he really wanted to lock in and work on his music project without getting distracted at one point. He’s come up with a lot of ideas for things to do with his community over the years, it just often seems like those things don’t end up getting approved or are tied to a big project. For example, he wanted to feature questions and fan art, etc. from the Cultare in each episode of the Mana podcast originally, but we all know how that turned out.
I get what you mean though. He gets super excited and tries to go hard on one big thing all the time, so it stings extra hard when that thing falls through. It would be good for him to try some smaller projects between the big ones so he doesn’t get so upset when things go wrong.
He’s sounded so bitter recently whenever he talks about music, projects, etc., so honestly, I’m glad he’s taking some time to get his head straight. It’s good that he realizes it and is taking steps to address it rather than just trying to soldier through it like he did the first year.
